LMMFAO....
ok, enough of that.... back to the 150.
it reminds me of the old closed-down drive in
'theater' that used to be just two blocks from
it. i dunno if anyone on this board would know
about the drive-in... but many many years ago
there used to be a drive-in over behind the
coleman factory (which is relatively close to
the 150). back in the day, you could still see
the big er.... thingy that the pictures were
shown on (screen???). i dunno if its still there....
but it makes me wonder about the fate of the 150.
i dunno that anyone would purchase the 150...
especially being in that location. but i think
it would be a kickass idea if someone purchased
it and then re-established it in some other
area of LR... like maybe over in the hillsborough/hwy 10 area...
maybe even in deep chenal... like over by that
kroger... or wildwood.
i'm sure someone could get some antiquity grant
or some shit like that to keep it established...
but i dunno if something like that has a loophole
stating it has to remain on university.
downtown LR (like quapaw/macarthur park) is
surging with new business of 'antique' fervor...
it could easily be done there as well.
bah... what am i saying? the 150 is gone gone GONE!

that would be funny if they reloacted it....i can see it now
*dream sequence*
i'm driving down the interestate on the way to see cristi when i look up and ahead all i can see is a large building that appears to be coming at me.
as i get close i realize that it is the cinema 150 on several very large trucks, driving down the freeway..
*end dream sequence*
hahahah, that would be funny

I take it, this was not just a normal cinema...can you please tell me what the 150 is. Did you have a huge screen or was it old fashioned or what???
